CSR Activity

One of the initiatives that we are the most proud of is our commitment to harness the potential of local women and empower their lives. 

Thanks to the vision of the Late Smt. Hansaben Jhaveri, her mission to enrich the lives of local women was brought about by employing them from their own homes.

She joined the business at the age of 18 after marrying Rameshbhai, where her work was key in analysing new products by distributing prototypes to women in her complex for trials and testing. 

In times when women were discouraged from working, she employed women for packaging and assembling finished products right from their homes. This initiative began with 20 women from her complex. 

She was the torch-bearer of the philosophy ‘For Women, By Women’ at J.P. Hairpins, which led to the progression of involving more women in the business.

Today, her legacy lives beyond her life, with more than 5000 women being employed at our company.
